WesternU’s core labs provide shared research spaces, instrumentation, training, and support for faculty, staff, students, and research teams. These resources are managed through the Office of Research and Biotechnology to support safe, organized, and equitable access to shared equipment and laboratory spaces.

Through iLab, users can request access, schedule equipment, complete training requirements, and track usage. All users are expected to follow applicable SOPs, safety requirements, and scheduling procedures to help maintain reliable equipment access and a respectful shared research environment.
